TORONTO, ON – Rubicon Publishing partnered with the Toronto Raptors once again for the 2nd annual Read to Achieve Open Court Practice at the Air Canada Center.
Over 10,000 elementary and high school students from 200 schools participated in this year’s event. Together, the players, the team mascot and coach Jay Triano, highlighted the importance of literacy in all aspects of life. The message at this year’s event was teaching children the value of reading – no matter what type of reading they choose.
In addition to all of the on-court activities and cheering crowds, one hundred lucky students received a BOLDPRINT Graphic Reader generously donated by Rubicon Publishing and its partner Oxford University Press.
