OAKVILLE, ON – Rubicon Publishing today announced that, as part of an ongoing effort to decrease their ecological footprint, all paper used in the production of Rubicon books and resources is now certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and is made of natural, recyclable product made from wood grown in sustainable forests.
“In the past few years we have been improving our paper purchasing, and all the paper we now use in our publishing has received Forest Stewardship Council’s Chain of Custody (COC) certification,” explained Reg Neill, Rubicon’s General Manager. “The COC certification provides evidence that the paper used for the manufacturing of FSC certified printed product originates from well-managed foresters, and verifies that these products are not mixed with products from uncertified forests at any point of the supply chain.”
The COC certification is one of many efforts Rubicon has made in its ongoing commitment to support sustainable publishing.
