Topic: How to Identify & Address Learning Gaps
For the last two years, students’ education has been disrupted, and many will have gaps in their learning in mathematics. This is in addition to normal variations.
This session is designed to focus on how you can figure out where your students are mathematically in a positive way, without using tests or making students feel inadequate. There will be a number of examples of meaningful diagnostic tasks that will provide useful starting places for you, along with some suggestions for using the information from those tasks.
