MathUP Student is a student-facing, interactive digital resource for Grades 1–9. Available for back-to-school 2024, this all-digital companion for MathUP Classroom will unlock a world of enhanced learning experiences tailored to meet the evolving needs of your students, parents, caregivers, and teachers.
MathUP Student connects directly to MathUP Classroom, saving teachers the time it takes to search for appropriate resources to supplement, revisit, reinforce, and consolidate math learning.

Created by Marian Small and Rubicon, a Savvas Company, these special activities build on the teaching strategies explored in MathUP Classroom. Use them for more practice in your classroom today.
MathUP Student Frequently Asked Questions
Is MathUP Student a separate login/license or included with MathUP Classroom?
MathUP Student is designed to complement MathUP Classroom with additional, interactive practice, approachable videos narrated by Marian Small, and built-in virtual manipulatives from Brainingcamp.
Teachers with MathUP Student licenses can access MathUP Classroom via a seamless LTI integration. Once students are rostered in MathUP Student, they can log in to access the questions, videos, and digital manipulatives.
What will teachers see for their students' results on the autoscorable skill practice?
Students work directly in the digital environment to answer autoscorable skill questions. After answering each question, students receive instant feedback, and teachers can see their results through teacher dashboard reports. These reports allow teachers to understand how their students are engaging with the content. Feedback is meant for assessment as learning and assessment for learning to inform instructional decisions.
Where can MathUP Student be used? Will it be available in French?
For Ontario, MathUP Student will be available in English and French. Ontario English is available now. We plan to produce French and National editions for the 2025 school year.
For the French versions, we will use the same process as MathUP Classroom, where student-facing materials will be translated into French and reviewed by French-language educators.
