    The number line is a powerful tool that helps students visualize and make sense of math. It plays an important role in building strong mathematical understanding across grade levels. In this session, we’ll explore different types of number lines and how they can be used to support learning. Participants will experience hands-on strategies with single, double, and triple number lines through interactive activities and games.

  • Line It Up! Supporting Making Fluency with Number Lines

    In this session, we’ll look at how number lines can be used to make math more visual and meaningful for students in Grades 4–7. From whole numbers to fractions, decimals, and integers, number lines help students see relationships, compare values, and make sense of operations. We’ll explore practical classroom activities and easy ways to build number lines into your lessons so students develop stronger number sense and confidence in their math thinking.
